How the Zone Technique Works

The Zone Technique looks beyond simply physical ailments. Chiropractic adjustments using the Zone Technique focus on restoring normal communication between the brain and spinal cord, which promotes balance within the body and stimulates a natural healing response to various conditions which can affect our well-being. It works by dividing the body up into six major systems or "Zones". These include the Glandular, Eliminative, Nervous, Digestive, Muscular & Circulatory Systems. Since the body can be compared to an electrical circuit, when one or more of these systems is shorted (out), two things are happening. #1 the body is not properly communicating with the brain to tell it the problem and #2, even if the brain were getting the correct signals, it still could not send the appropriate stimulus down the spinal cord to help heal the area of concern.

The Zone Technique mitigates this problem by balancing the mind/body connection and resetting the system in question, similar to flipping a circuit breaker that has been tripped. Dr. Graham is able to effectively determine which Zone or Zones are out of balance by feeling six points along the Superior Nuchal Line, which have nerve filaments associated with the different systems in question. Once he adjsuts the patient and balances the Zones, this helps to Reestablish the brain/spinal cord connection and helps to alleviate whatever condition the patient has been experiencing to get them on the right path towards feeling and functioning great 24/7!
